Our Grade 4 students enthusiastically participated in a dynamic Race Car Robotics Activity, where engineering concepts were seamlessly combined with their coding skills.
Students constructed race car models using motors and mechanical components, then applied their coding knowledge to control speed, direction, and movement. By testing, adjusting, and refining their programs, they observed how accurate coding directly impacted the car’s performance on the track.
The activity strengthened logical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and perseverance. It also encouraged students to analyze results and make improvements—just like real engineers and programmers.
This integrated STEM experience empowered our learners to apply their coding skills in a practical and exciting way, boosting both confidence and creativity.
